Once you sign up to a BHF
World Experience, we will support you all the way with
your fundraising endeavours.
The World Experiences Team has a wealth of fundraising experience
to share with you, so you can always contact us for support and
advice.
In addition to this, we will send you:
- A Challenge Pack - bursting with
fundraising advice and hot tips for getting the most out of you
contacts! This also includes a sample fundraising events calendar,
sponsor forms, sample press release, and sample sponsorship letter
for local companies.
- Your BHF online sponsorship password - so you
can set up your very own online sponsorship form allowing you to
tap all your contacts round the globe! Payment is instant so you
don’t even have to chase anyone up!
- Campaign fundraising materials - use the
materials available for the Valentine Appeal and Help-a-Heart Week
campaigns to help boost your fundraising.
- A contact list of fellow trekkers/cyclists on your
event - it's great to get in touch to help motivate each
other and share successful fundraising ideas.
- You’ll be assigned two Been there Buddies
- ie: contact details for two past participants who
are happy to answer your queries and share their fundraising
successes.
- Invitation to a training weekend - this is
great for meeting other BHF trekkers/cyclists as well as giving you
a good idea of what training adjustments you need to make.
- Our Press Officer will contact you for your story
- so they can sell it in to your local newspapers.
- We’ll also send you regular information packs
on your chosen World Experience, together with training tips for
getting you ready physically.
