This fantastic long weekend event is an
amazing bike ride from London through the Kent
countryside and on to Bruges in
Belgium.
The ride sets off early Friday morning across the
streets of London, but by late morning
we reach the beautiful open countryside of
Kent – famously described as the Garden of
England, home to numerous oast houses,
historic castles and stately homes!
We reach Dover later in the day where we board
the ferry for an evening crossing to
Calais.
Saturday's cycling takes us through pretty French
villages and through the port of
Dunkerque towards Belgium, before crossing
the border and entering the picturesque Flemish
countryside.
The ride finishes on arrival in the historic
city of Bruges – Europe’s best preserved
medieval city and a prominent World
Heritage Site of UNESCO.
After time to explore the city, we catch the
Eurostar from Lille, returning
home on Sunday.
Join us on this cycling challenge and help save
lives by raising much needed money to go towards pioneering
research into the causes and treatment of heart disease.
