Jim Rosenthal urges supporters to put their best foot forward
to beat heart disease
Sports TV presenter and personality, Jim Rosenthal, is
calling on people to step up to the challenge and take part in our
new fundraising event, Heart Walks, to raise funds for our Mending
Broken Hearts Appeal.
Jim is asking people to put their best foot forward, regardless
of age and fitness ability, and register to walk one of two
routes in our Heart Walk
series.
Participants can chose from a walk of under 2k and, for a bigger
test, walkers can take on a walk of just under 10K. Join together
with friends, neighbours and colleagues to walk scenic routes in
your town or city. The events are taking
place in eight Heart Towns.
Walking is a great way to help keep your heart healthy
Sports TV presenter
Jim Rosenthal said: “I am proud to be supporting the Heart Walk
series of events for the BHF. ”
He added: “Walking is a great way to help keep your heart
healthy, so I am looking forward to a fun-filled day out with the
family, all in the name of a great cause.”
Each walk is in aid of our Mending
Broken Hearts Appeal, the most important research project we’ve
undertaken. Every penny you raise will go towards groundbreaking research that could help us find
new ways to repair and mend damaged hearts.
Free registration is now open and
participants are asked to pledge to raise sponsorship.
