Pharmacies raise Christmas spirit and vital funds
Lloydspharmacy employees spread Christmas joy
for the BHF whilst raising money for our Mending Broken Hearts
Appeal.
Over 200 Lloydspharmacy stores across the UK
have embraced the festive cheer and put their hearts into
fundraising by dressing up as reindeers, having cracker pulling
contests and Christmas jumper days.
The pharmacies were eager to involve customers in the
Christmas-themed fun which helped to raise vital funds for our
Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.
Lloydspharmacy has supported Mending Broken Hearts since September
2010 and employees across the UK have helped to raise a
huge £220,000.
Amit Aggarwal, our Head of Corporate
Partnerships at the BHF, said: “We would like to say a big
thank you to each and every pharmacy for their fantastic
efforts in raising money for the BHF. Every penny that
Lloydspharmacy raises will go towards our Mending Broken Hearts
Appeal for which the goal is simple - to fund the research that
could literally begin to ‘mend broken hearts’ and give hope to
millions worldwide.”
