Urgent stock appeal for BHF Furniture and Electrical Store

Furniture donationThe new British Heart Foundation (BHF) Scotland Furniture & Electrical Store in Inverness is fast gaining a reputation as a destination for affordable furniture and electrical products.

Since opening earlier this month, thousands of customers have visited the store at 7 – 17 Union Street. The BHF Scotland Furniture & Electrical Store sells popular household items including suites, sofas and chairs, dining sets, beds, wardrobes and occasional furniture plus an array of electrical items including TVs, stereos, washing machines, fridges and dishwashers.

The store is urgently seeking stock donations so that it can continue to offer customers a fantastic range of products.  

BHF Scotland is putting its heart into affordable home furnishings, expanding its number of Furniture & Electrical Stores to help raise funds for the fight against heart disease, Scotland’s biggest killer.

Not only a fantastic hunting ground for bargain seekers or anyone wishing to update their home, the BHF Scotland Furniture & Electrical Stores are an effective and environmentally friendly way to donate household items that you no longer want but which are still in good working order. BHF Scotland offers free removal of larger good quality furniture and electrical items. Each item is tested and certified before being sold.

There are now over 50 BHF Furniture & Electrical Stores across the UK to complement the 580 BHF Charity Shops, with plans for further expansion in 2009 and beyond. With so many stores, the need for good quality furniture and electrical donations is high.

Last financial year, British Heart Foundation Shops throughout the UK contributed over £14 million to the fight against heart and circulatory disease.
