Inequalities Working Group

Despite reduced death rates from cardiovascular disease and improved management of cardiovascular conditions, inequalities persist in the incidence and impact of CVD, with disparities by region, income, gender, ethnicity, and access to and quality of services.

The Inequalities Working Group is investigating opportunities to highlight and respond to inequalities issues and share information with other CVC members.

The Inequalities Working Group will ensure that measures to address and reduce inequalities are included in the Cardio & Vascular Health Strategy for 2010-2020
