What is Celebrate with
the BHF?
Celebrate with the BHF is a new and exciting way to ask family and friends to mark your special occasion – such as an anniversary, birthday or wedding – by donating to the nation’s heart charity instead of buying you a gift.
Whether it’s by funding research, educating people on how to prevent a heart-related illness or providing care for people with heart problems, you and your guests will help save and improve lives.
By sharing your celebration with us, you’re giving a gift from the heart, for the heart.
Please see below how your help makes a big difference to our work:
- £17.50 – could offer people with heart disease vital information and support by paying for five calls to our Heart Information Line
- £24 – could offer comfort, advice and support to someone with heart disease and their family by paying for an hour of specialist care from a BHF Heart Nurse
- £48 – could help detect heart problems in an unborn baby by paying for the use of an echocardiography machine and echo-technician for an ultrasound scan
- £200 – could lead us to life-saving new discoveries by funding a BHF junior Research Scientist for a whole day.
