Happy Birthday Tom and Jessica

Tom and Jessica met just after being born in a Special Baby Unit in hospital. They were both born with a heart condition that meant they were very sick and needed lots of medical care.  

The doctors said Tom might not live for very long, but over the years he has grown up strong and goes to school every day. He has had less time off school than some other children who don't have a heart condition!

Tom and Jessica's mums have also been friends ever since. Emma and Michelle want other families to know that it is good to keep positive, even when someone in your family is poorly.
