In 2007/8 alone, 57,000 people gave regularly to the BHF, donating over £3 million. These supporters play a crucial role, ensuring that we have a reliable, ongoing source of income that allows us to plan for the future.
It's a really easy way to support our life-saving work - simply tell us how much you'd like to donate and we do the rest. We can also claim Gift Aid on your donation, which brings us a further 28p for every £1 you give.
Sara and Richard Banham are regular donors: "When our daughter Catherine was diagnosed with a heart condition at only four months old, we thought our baby was going to die. Everything happened so quickly, we were struggling to come to terms with it all. Thankfully the operation went well and, less than two weeks after discovering the problem, Catherine was back home. Now, she's a healthy, happy little girl. The care we received was faultless. We were given lots of BHF information, and a video of parents talking about how they felt in our situation really helped us to understand that our thoughts and feelings were perfectly normal."
