Every year, we expand and improve our wide range of booklets, DVDs and videos on heart health issues. And 2007 was no exception.
The latest addition to the award-winning Heart Information Series is Keep your heart healthy, a booklet explaining how changes to your lifestyle reduce your risk of developing heart disease.
To support our 30 a Day campaign, we produced 30 a day - any way: the fit for life plan, a booklet which encourages the over 50s to invest in their own health and wellbeing by getting active. And we produced 30 a day - any way, aimed at the over 35s to coincide with our up-tempo TV campaign, The Beat.
We published 100 voices, interviews with 100 patients who give a unique glimpse of what it's like to live with heart disease. And, there's a new edition of My progress record, which contains pages where heart patients can record their own health readings, and keep track of their medication.
To connect more closely with vulnerable South Asian communities we produced Healthy meals, healthy heart, a recipe book with 60 delicious and easy-to-prepare recipes that use less salt and fat.
