Julie
Weston
Director of Human
Resources
Julie Weston, Director of Human
Resources, joined the BHF in September 2006.
Prior to this Julie has spent much of her
career with the National Health Service, culminating in her
role as Director of Human Resources for a large Mental Health Trust
in South West London. Before joining the BHF, she spent a year at
the newly set up Pension Protection Fund.
Her role at the BHF involves being responsible
for the development and implementation of effective staffing
strategies, ensuring that the charity has the right skills to
deliver its objectives. Julie attends Council and Board of
Trustee meetings and sits on the Committee of Trustees for the BHF
pension scheme.
Outside the BHF, Julie is a trustee for a
mental health charity and for an arts charity, both based in
London. She has an MA in Human Resource Strategies and is also
trained in organisational development and change management.
Her interests include drama, reading and
walking.
