Policy and Communications

Our communications team seek to publicise and promote, through various forms of communication, the valuable work we do. We've won many awards for our hard hitting campaigns and press releases.

Our policy team seeks to set and move forward policy objectives that align with the aims of the charity. We've been involved in lobbying parliament in favour of a smoking ban, campaigning on the issue of childhood obesity and demand a new Government plan for heart health in England.

The Online Team at BHF is an exciting team to work in. Unlike a lot of charities BHF is really forward thinking in its use of New Media, and is willing to try new things.

There’s new challenges everyday along with the feeling of moving forward and making a real difference.

But however hectic it sometimes feels – we always have time to share a joke and have fun with colleagues.

Working at the BHF is incredibly motivational.

I’m lucky enough to work on projects across the BHF - from small to large campaigns - and I get exposure to the wide variety of work the charity does.

There is always so much incredible work going on and everyone is so enthusiastic about what they are doing that it’s a great environment to be in.

I’ve been working at the BHF for nearly 5 years – I started out as an Art Worker and now I’m Design Manager!

Working as a creative at the BHF is both exciting and challenging – the work we produce is cutting edge and we pride ourselves on constantly aiming higher.

Add to that my colleagues are the loveliest and most talented group of people you could hope to work with – it really does make an inspiring atmosphere.
