Welcome to BHF Northern
IrelandAlong with our supporters we are working hard to raise funds for life-saving research and better care for people living with heart disease in Northern Ireland.
We are currently spending £338,000 on pioneering research. We also provide funding for life-saving cardiac care equipment, especially defibrillators, for hospitals, GPs, emergency services and other qualified groups in the community.
BHF Northern Ireland relies on donations from the public. Members of our Limavady Branch give their time and energy to raise funds, while other BHF Northern Ireland volunteers help co-ordinate fundraising in their communities.
Greater numbers of people in Northern Ireland are living with heart disease and, for some at least, we can help reduce the pain and anxiety that they have to cope with.
There are four BHF Heart Nurses providing care and support to people with heart problems and their families and their carers.
The Northern Ireland Heart Nurse Appeal has been launched to raise £80,000 to fund and support two new BHF Heart Nurses. Whether you can make a donation, organise an event, help with a collection or want more information, please contact us today.
