Every year the West Region hosts hundreds of local events, from
bike rides to jogs and walks to exhilarating challenges.

Hearts First Bike Ride - Oxford to
Cambridge
September - date tbc
This is the only charity bike ride to link the two historic
University cities and attracted over 1400 cyclists to take part
last year. The 85 mile route starts in stunning Oxford City Centre
and then follows quiet roads through the rolling Oxfordshire and
Buckinghamshire countryside, to the flatter fenlands of
Cambridgeshire.
Cardiff Bay Fun Run
Wednesday 6 June
The popular early evening event is back. The one mile lap which
passes all the historical landmarks in Cardiff Bay such as the
Senedd building and the Wales Millennium Centre. Complete as many
laps as you wish. Join the fun with a group from work, or the whole
family to enjoy Cardiff's waterfront at its best.
Hearts First Fun Run - Bristol Harbour
Wednesday 27 June
Bristol's biggest fun run celebrates its fifth birthday in 2007.
The fun run follows a 2.5 mile route around the historic maritime
harbour in the heart of the city and this year we are expecting
more than 1500 fun runners to help us celebrate in style. Jog it,
walk it or crawl it - just do it.
Hearts First Blenheim 10k Bolt -
Oxfordshire
Sunday 16 September
Last year over 700 people joined us at the stunning grounds of
Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire. This circular 10km route takes you
through woodland, around the lake and across the open land. Enter
as a team, family or simply challenge yourself.
Bute Park Walk
Sunday 16 September
Bute Park Walk is your opportunity to join other BHF supporters for
a sponsored walk in the splendid inner city Bute Park. Bring the
whole family along for a Sunday morning stroll to raise vital funds
for the BHF in Wales.
