Welcome to BHF West England
Thank you for visiting the BHF West Region's
section.
The West Region includes Staffordshire,
Shropshire, West Midlands, Worcestershire, Warwickshire,
Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Wiltshire,
Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. It also covers Guernsey, Jersey, the
Isles of Scilly and nation of Wales.
Our region, with its population of more than
13 million people, is incredibly exciting and diverse, which is why
we have dedicated teams of staff, volunteers and supporters within
all local communities supporting our volunteers to raise vital
funds to support the work of BHF.
These teams work hard to raise money and
provide guidance and advice to our supporters and volunteers.
Thanks to their tenacity and enthusiasm, we were able to contribute
£3.35 million towards the £12.7 million we raised nationally during
2007/2008 through BHF volunteers.
