Raising £105,000 for essential heart equipment in Bradford
The BHF, with your help, is aiming to raise
£105,000 to fund a 3D Echocardiograph machine for
Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Echocardiographs are a specialised test which look at the
structure of the patient’s heart. A probe is placed on the chest
and a pulse of high frequency sound is passed through the skin. The
echoes reflected by the pulse show as a picture on a screen.
These new 3D images provide extremely accurate and detailed
information about the structure, valves and pumping action of the
heart, helping doctors make more informed and speedier
diagnoses.
The appeal is supported by the Bradford Bulls.
Player Sam Burgess said: "Bradford Bulls are
committed to improving the health and lifestyle of the Bradford
community and this machine is vital to heart patients in the city.
We are delighted to be able to offer our support to such a valuable
piece of equipment."
We need your support of the Beating Hearts in Bradford
Appeal to help raise £105,000 for a 3D Echocardiograph
machine.
Donate today, or
create your own online fundraising appeal if you would
like to invite friends, family or colleagues to also support the

We also need people to volunteer
to support the appeal. Your local volunteer
