Welcome to BHF Scotland
We're
the largest, independent funder of heart research in Scotland and
we're currently spending over £25 million.
We play an important role in funding education and teaching the
public and health professionals.
We also provide life-saving cardiac equipment and we provide
support for heart patients through our BHF Scotland Heart
Nurses.
The total annual income of BHF Scotland is around £2.5 million.
We are working hard to increase this - your help is vital.
Of every pound donated, 83p directly supports our work in
research, education and care, 16p is spent on publicity and
fundraising, 1p goes towards administration.
BHF Scotland is based at Ocean Point in Leith, Edinburgh and we
have four Fundraising Volunteer Managers covering every corner
of Scotland, including the islands.
We have over 300 volunteers throughout the country.
