More information...
Please come and join us for our annual walk around the
Boating Lake in Cleethorpes
Here you can enjoy wildlife in a natural setting from a vantage
point over the lake, and take in the spectacular views over the
River Humber across to Spurn Point. One lap is 1.4 miles; you can
walk as many laps as you choose, starting at 11 am and finishing to
suit yourself.
Registration opens at 10:00am, with a mass start at 11am,
finishing around 1pm.
The walk is open to everyone and suitable for all ages from
grandparents to young children. It is accessible for wheelchair
users, the mobility-impaired and people pushing prams or
buggies.
Bring a picnic and a blanket and enjoy a family day out. There is a
childrens play area and a discovery centre on route and many photo
opportunities along the way.
Children and adults will also receive a medal on completion as a
lasting memento of the day.
So why not make a day of it, get a team together of friends or
family and join us in beating heart disease together in the
region?
You can request as many registration forms as you need by
calling the Community Fundraising Team on 0845 4308663 or by
emailing north@bhf.org.uk.
Registration is only £5 per person (Children under 16 go free but
must be accompanied by a fee paying adult)
