One in three diabetes deaths could be avoided
Taking medication and eating healthy can prevent
death
According to a new report up to 24,000
diabetes-related deaths could be avoided in England each year, if
patients and doctors managed the condition better.

There are 2.3 million people diagnosed with
diabetes in the UK and around 70,000-75,000 diabetic patients die
every year. Regular health
checks, having a healthy
lifestyle and taking
medication are important for managing the
condition.
