One in three diabetes deaths could be avoided

According to a new report up to 24,000 diabetes-related deaths could be avoided in England each year, if patients and doctors managed the condition better. diabetes

There are 2.3 million people diagnosed with diabetes in the UK and around 70,000-75,000 diabetic patients die every year. Regular health checks, having a healthy lifestyle and taking medication are important for managing the condition.
