Inactivity kills
Being inactive is worse than being overweight
It’s well known that being physically inactive
is very dangerous to our health
and new research
shows that it is better to be overweight and active than
normal weight and sedentary in terms of risk of mortality.
Whilst many people who need to lose weight first think of how to
change their diet, physical activity should be considered
from the very start to live a longer, healthier life. And
being active does not necessarily mean running a marathon but
setting up achievable goals to become active as part of
everyday life.
