More information...
This fascinating trek is a step back in time to an area where
ancient tradition still guides people’s lives and where nature is
wild.
The trek takes place in Romania’s famed Transylvanian Alps, an
area rich in tradition and myths. Exploring two of the highest
mountain ranges of Romania, you will make contact with locals,
sleep in small mountain villages and taste traditional local
food.
During this adventure, you will discover the Bucegi Mountains,
famed for their rock formations, as well as Piatra Craiului (The
King’s Rock) National Park, home to wolves, lynx and bears.
The opportunity to visit the 14th century Romanian
icon, Dracula’s Castle (beautifully renovated by the royal family
in the 19th century), is also a highlight of this
fantastic trek.
This challenge offers you the opportunity to have the
adventure of a lifetime, enhanced by the knowledge you are helping
people affected by heart disease today and in the
future.
